Unified.to MCP Server Expands to 415+ Integrations and 20,421 Real-Time Tools
August 25, 2025

This post announced the August 2025 release of [Unified MCP](/mcp), and the figures below are from that release. Today Unified MCP serves 22,566 tools across 1430 integrations; each connection sees only the tools its authorization allows. For how Unified MCP compares with other MCP servers now, see Best MCP Servers for Connecting AI Agents to SaaS APIs.
We're thrilled to announce a major upgrade to the Unified.to MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. With this release, your MCP integrations gain broader coverage, stronger compliance options, and the flexibility needed to power production-grade AI agents.
What's New: Expanded Endpoint Coverage
The Unified.to MCP server now supports a vastly expanded set of vendor API endpoints — going beyond the normalized Unified.to API objects.
Adding include_external_tools=true adds each vendor's own endpoints as MCP tools, callable from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Cohere and other clients.
- 20,421 tools at release (August 2025)
- 333+ integrations across 21 categories at release
This unlocks access to every action supported by a vendor's API — from custom objects to niche endpoints — without additional server configuration.
Security and Control Built In
Two of the biggest challenges with MCP today are security and fragmentation. Unified.to MCP addresses both:
- Scoped permissions: Limit available tools to the exact scopes required. Use the
permissionsparameter to enforce read-only or restricted access. - Sensitive data protection: Use
hide_sensitive=trueto strip PII, such as names, emails and phone numbers, from tool results before they reach an LLM. - One server for every integration: No separate MCP server per vendor. Each connection gets its own scoped URL, with only the tools that connection is authorized for.
European Data-Region Support
Unified.to MCP is now available in our EU data center.
- Use
https://mcp-api-eu.unified.to/mcpto keep data flows in-region. A credential works only on its own region's host. - All MCP requests in the EU region are served from Unified's EU infrastructure, so requests stay in-region.
- Unified MCP servers are also live in the US and AU regions (
https://mcp-api.unified.to/mcpandhttps://api-au.unified.to/mcp).
How Unified.to MCP Works
The Unified.to MCP server is built on authorized pass-through integrations with attached OpenAPI specs, turning your customer's third-party data into structured tools for LLMs.
- Real-time: Every tool fetches live data directly from the source system.
- Bi-directional: Agents can both read and write — update candidates, trigger workflows, close deals.
- One integration with Unified.to: Each customer authorizes each system once, and your agent gets tools across HR, ATS, CRM, Accounting, Messaging, File Storage and more (333+ integrations at release).
With Unified.to MCP, you can power conversational agents, copilots, and predictive workflows that act securely on customer data — without glue code or prompt hacks.
What's Changed Since This Release
- Tool count: 22,566 tools across 1430 integrations. That is the catalogue total; one connection carries far fewer (a HubSpot connection carried 69 on 12 October 2026).
- Deferred loading:
defer_toolsmarks tools for deferred loading on Anthropic and OpenAI, so large tool lists don't fill the model's context. - Stateless MCP: Unified MCP supports the stateless core of the 2026-07-28 MCP revision in production.
