October 2026 product update
October's integration work concentrated on four new category APIs and on marketing, CRM, and messaging, taking the catalogue to 1,933 integrations as of October 31, 2026. The four launches are Healthcare, Legal Practice Management, Property Management, and Compute & Hosting, and Agent Signup now lets an agent create its own Unified.to workspace with one call. Across the unified API, 4,674 enhancements shipped, including custom fields on 88 integrations in a single day and a Collection object on 84 integrations.
Agents are now the end user
Most of what shipped for agents in October removes a step that used to need a person: creating the workspace, finding out what an integration supports, and learning that a record changed.
Agent Signup
As of October 14, an agent can create its own Unified.to workspace with one call to POST /agent/signup, with no request body and no credential. The response carries a workspace API key, the Core MCP server URL for the workspace's region, a claim link, and the Sandbox integrations already active, so the agent starts building against mock data straight away.
When a person should own the workspace, the agent shows them the claim link. They sign in with a work email and become the admin and billing owner, and the agent's key keeps working after the claim. Each region signs up on its own host (US, EU, and AU), and the workspace runs on the Test plan's 30-day trial, counted from signup.
On October 17, signup moved into the MCP client. An agent that connects to /mcp?signup=true with no credential can call signup_unified_workspace, the one tool on the server that works without a credential, and gets the same response.
An agent that can write integration code but can't get a workspace can draft an integration, not run one. With Agent Signup, getting a workspace no longer waits on a person; owning and upgrading it does.
Build with Agents
Build with Agents puts what a coding agent needs on one page: one prompt to paste into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Copilot, the Workspace MCP server, the Agent Skills, and the CLI.
Add Unified.to integrations to my app: https://unified.to/SKILL.md
The prompt loads the quick-start skill, which runs the quick start in your codebase: the agent plans the integrations and waits for your approval, activates them in the Sandbox, adds the Authorization component and the first API call, then tests the flow against the API-call logs. The Workspace MCP server is authenticated with your workspace API key, works on workspace configuration only, never your customers' data, and has endpoints in the US, EU, and AU.
The MCP server, built for agents
The Unified MCP server carried 172,737 tools as of October 30, 2026, including 25,150 unified tools, up from 69,948 and 13,553 as of September 30, 2026. October's changes were about what an agent can do with them.
MCP Events. On October 23, a connection's MCP server added the draft MCP Events extension (io.modelcontextprotocol/events). Each object the integration can send webhooks for becomes an event type, such as crm_contact.created. A client either polls with events/poll and a cursor, for created and updated events where the integration can filter by update time, or subscribes with events/subscribe, an https URL, and a whsec_ secret, and Unified.to delivers each change to that URL signed per Standard Webhooks. Subscriptions appear on the Webhooks page with an MCP badge, and disable_events=true turns events off for a URL. Events aren't offered in Core mode, and events/stream is not supported; the extension is a draft and may change. An agent without events learns that a record changed only by asking again. With events, it is told.
Tools before a credential. On October 7, /mcp?integration_type=<type> started listing an integration's tools without a credential; they can be listed but not called. On October 10, a tools/list request with no credential started returning the Core tools. An agent can now check what an integration supports before anyone signs up.
Writes that match the integration. On October 9, an integration's create and update tools began listing only the fields that integration accepts, and marking the fields it requires on create. On October 7, tools began advertising an outputSchema for their structuredContent. An agent that sees every unified field on every integration writes fields the integration doesn't accept. One that sees only the accepted fields, with the required ones marked, gets the write right the first time.
Credentials scoped to what the agent needs. Two ways to authenticate were added to the MCP authentication docs in October. With OAuth sign-in, an MCP client that supports OAuth, such as a Claude custom connector, connects to the bare MCP URL with no credential, registers itself, and signs in to pick a workspace. The access token lasts 24 hours and gives the Core tools for that workspace, and its scopes (mcp:read, mcp:write, offline_access) filter tools/list, so a read-only token is never offered a write tool. A connection-scoped token gives an end customer, or an MCP client you don't control, access to one connection without your workspace API key. It is generated with get_unified_connection_mcp_url in user mode, does not expire, and is revoked by deleting the connection. An agent holding a workspace API key can manage every connection, webhook, and setting in the workspace. One holding a scoped token reaches only what it was given.
More of the workspace in the Core tools. On October 8, the Core server added list_unified_notifications, create_unified_connection_reauth, and six secrets manager tools. On October 12, it began serving Agent Skills, through skills/list, skills/get, and skill:// resources for clients that support the MCP Skills extension, and through list_unified_skills and get_unified_skill for every other client.
Memory for the agents you ship
The GenAI API added a Memory object on October 18 and 19 across 11 integrations: Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Anthropic Claude, Anthropic Claude Agents, Augure, BytePlus ModelArk, Cloudflare Workers AI, Devin, Google Vertex AI, Mem0, and Microsoft Foundry.
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
type | FOLDER for a memory store or a sub-folder in one, MEMORY for a memory |
parent_id | The folder a node sits in; empty at the root |
user_identifier | Your own identifier for the end user the memory belongs to |
content | The memory text, on MEMORY nodes |
Memory is modelled as one tree of folders and memories, with user_identifier tying each node to your own ID for the end user. An application that ships agents on more than one model vendor works with each end user's memory in the same shape across all 11, instead of learning each vendor's memory API. |
Totals in a header
When an integration reports a total for a list, Unified.to now returns it in an X-Total-Count response header; the body stays a plain array. The value comes from the integration, so treat it as an approximate upper bound for a progress indicator, not an exact record count, and keep paging until a page returns fewer results than your limit. An agent can size a job before it pages through the records.

Unified Healthcare API
Read patients, practitioners, schedules, and the clinical record from EHR and practice management systems, and book appointments, through one Healthcare API. It launched on October 10.
57 integrations as of October 31, 2026: 1upHealth, AdvancedMD, Aetna, Aidbox, AlayaCare, athenahealth, AWS HealthLake, Azure Health Data Services, Cambio, Canvas Medical, Centene, CharmHealth, Cliniko, CMS Blue Button 2.0, Dentally, DentiMax, Docplanner, DrChrono, Elation Health, Elevance Health, EMIS, Epic, Gentu, Google Cloud Healthcare API, Greenway Health, Halaxy, Health Gorilla, Healthie, Humana, IntakeQ, Jane, Kipu Health, Labcorp, MEDITECH, Medplum, Medtech ALEX, Metriport, ModMed, Netsmart, NextGen Healthcare, Open Dental, Oracle Health, Orion Health, Particle Health, PointClickCare, Semble, SMART on FHIR, Tebra, TELUS Health CHR, TietoEVRY Lifecare, TruBridge, UnitedHealthcare, Veradigm, Welkin Health, WellSky Personal Care, Zanda, and Zus Health.
| Object | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Patient | Demographics, contact details, and identifiers such as an MRN |
| Practitioner | Clinicians, with identifiers such as an NPI, specialties, and the locations where they practise |
| Location | Clinics, hospitals, and departments, with a parent_id for nested locations |
| Appointment | Booked visits with patient, practitioners, location, and status |
| Slot | Bookable availability on a practitioner's schedule |
| Encounter | Visits and admissions, linked to the appointment that scheduled them |
| Condition | Problems and diagnoses |
| Allergy | Allergies and intolerances, with criticality and reactions |
| Medication | Orders and prescriptions, with dosage and refills |
| Observation | Lab results and vital signs, with value, unit, and reference range |
| Immunization | Administered vaccines |
| Procedure | Procedures performed, with codings and body sites |
| Care plan | Plans of treatment, linked to the conditions and goals they address |
| Goal | Care goals and progress towards them |

| Report | Diagnostic reports, grouping the observations they include |
| Document | Clinical documents, with the file |
Many EHRs offer HL7 FHIR R4, but each implements a different subset of resources, search parameters, and extensions, and many practice management systems have their own REST APIs instead. The Healthcare API is a simplified model mapped from FHIR R4, so a system with a FHIR endpoint and one without return the same Patient and the same Appointment. Every clinical record links back to its patient through patient_id, and to the encounter and practitioner that recorded it through encounter_id and practitioner_id. |
codes on clinical records keeps the source's standard code systems, including LOINC, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, ICD-10, and CVX, so an application matches a lab result or a medication by its code rather than by a display name that differs between EHRs. As shipped, writes cover Patient (create and update), Appointment (create, update, and remove), Observation (create), and Document (create); the other 13 objects are read-only. An application that can read a practice's schedule but cannot write to it can show open times, not book them.
Object, field, method, and webhook coverage varies by what each platform's API permits, and changes as we ship. The current matrix is on the Supported Integrations page.
As with every Unified API, each request is executed directly against the source API. No caching, no sync jobs, no stored records. The connection_id changes. The API calls don't.
Unified.to is HIPAA compliant, alongside SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and PIPEDA.

Unified Legal Practice Management API
Read and write matters, practice areas, time entries, and expenses in a law firm's practice management system through one Legal Practice Management API. It launched on October 10.
28 integrations as of October 31, 2026: Actionstep, Bill4Time, Brightflag, Captorra, CASEpeer, Centerbase, Clio, Docketwise, Elite 3E, Filevine, INSZoom, Law Ruler, Lawcus, Lawmatics, LawVu, Lead Docket, LEAP, MerusCase, MyCase, Onit, PracticePanther, Prevail, Quill, Rocket Matter, SimpleLegal, SmartAdvocate, Smokeball, and TimeSolv.
| Object | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Matter | A case or client engagement, with status, billing method, practice area, stage, parties, staff, and key dates |
| Practice area | The firm's areas of law, with a code and a unified type |
| Time entry | Billable and non-billable time recorded against a matter |
| Expense | Costs and disbursements recorded against a matter |
Four objects is the design decision. Some systems call a case a matter, others a case, a project, or an action, and everything a legal-tech product writes back to the firm hangs off it: the time worked, the costs incurred, and the court dates. Calendar events from the Calendar API link to a matter through matter_id, so deadlines sit with the case they belong to. |
parties on Matter lists every related person or organization with a role: client, opposing party, opposing counsel, co-counsel, witness, expert, judge, or referrer. That's what a conflict check or an intake tool reads. Time entries and expenses carry UTBMS/LEDES activity, task, and expense codes, the coding legal e-billing uses. A time-capture tool that can't write against the firm's matters records hours someone then re-keys. As shipped, matters can be created on 20 integrations, time entries on 16, and expenses on 14.
Object, field, method, and webhook coverage varies by what each platform's API permits, and changes as we ship. The current matrix is on the Supported Integrations page.

Unified Property Management API
Read listings, reservations, guests, availability, reviews, and guest conversations in vacation-rental and hotel property management systems, and write reservations, guests, quotes, and messages, through one Property Management API. It launched on October 28.
30 integrations as of October 31, 2026: Apaleo, Beds24, Bentral, Channex, CiiRUS, Cloudbeds, Escapia, Guesty, Hospitable, Hostaway, Hostex, Hostfully, Hosthub, Host Tools, Kunas (HotelSync), Lodgify, Mews, Octorate, Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS, OwnerRez, RentalReady, Rentals United, RMS Cloud, RoomKey PMS, SabeeApp, Smily, Smoobu, Track, Your.Rentals, and Zeevou.
| Object | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Listing | A bookable property, with type, address, occupancy, rooms, check-in times, and stay limits |
| Unit type | A room type or unit category within a listing |
| Reservation | A stay, with guest, status, channel, dates, party size, and amounts |
| Guest | The person who books |
| Availability | Per-date status, nightly price, and units available for a listing or unit type |
| Quote | A priced stay before a reservation is made |
| Review | A guest review with category ratings and the host's response |
| Conversation | A guest message thread tied to a reservation |
| Listing and Unit type are the design decision. A vacation rental is one listing that is booked whole. A hotel is one property with room types, each with several bookable units. Modelling both as a Listing, with Unit types underneath where they exist, is what lets the same Reservation and Availability objects cover Hostaway and Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS. |
line_items on Reservation breaks the total into base price, fees, taxes, and discounts, alongside total_amount, paid_amount, and balance_amount. An owner statement or a payout reconciliation needs the breakdown, not the total. source says which channel the booking came from, and confirmation_code carries its booking reference. As shipped, reservations can be created on 12 integrations, quotes on 11, and guest messages sent on 6, where replies land in the host's PMS inbox.
Object, field, method, and webhook coverage varies by what each platform's API permits, and changes as we ship. The current matrix is on the Supported Integrations page.

Unified Compute & Hosting API
Launch and control instances, read GPU prices and availability, and deploy services across GPU clouds, agent sandboxes, and app hosting through one Compute & Hosting API. It launched on October 10.
38 integrations as of October 31, 2026: AWS EC2, AWS Lambda MicroVMs, Azure Virtual Machines, Civo, Crusoe Cloud, Daytona, Deno Deploy, DigitalOcean, E2B, Fly.io, Google App Engine, Google Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Platform, Google Cloud Run, Google Cloud TPU, Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Heroku, Hetzner Cloud, Hyperstack, Lambda, Linode (Akamai), Nebius AI Cloud, Netlify, OVHcloud, Railway, Render, Runloop, RunPod, Scaleway, SF Compute, STACKIT, UpCloud, Vast.ai, Vercel, Vercel Sandbox, Verda, and Vultr.
| Object | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Instance | Pods, VMs, servers, containers, and sandboxes, with status, size, price, and region |
| GPU type | The GPU and instance-size catalogue, with prices and availability by region; also the plan catalogue for hosting |
| Region | Regions and data centres, with the GPU models offered there |
| Template | Images and blueprints that instances start from |
| Volume | Network volumes, filesystems, and disks |
| Snapshot | Snapshots of an instance or volume, which new instances can be restored from |
| Usage | Usage and cost records per period |
| Key | SSH keys, registry credentials, and secrets; values are write-only |
| Service | Hosted apps, with runtime, plan, scaling limits, source repository, and public URL |
| Deployment | Builds and releases of a service |
| Domain | Custom domains routed to a service |
| Environment variable | A service's variables; values are write-only |
One cloud calls a machine a pod, another a droplet, a server, a devbox, or a sandbox. Some price per GPU-hour in cents, others per instance-hour. The design decision is one lifecycle: start, stop, pause, resume, restart, and terminate are all updates to an instance's status, and allowed_actions says which of them that cloud supports for that instance right now. An application that has to learn each cloud's lifecycle calls can support a few clouds, not the one each customer already pays for. |
Memory and disk are always in MiB, and GPUs map to one canonical GPU model list, so an H100 is the same H100 on RunPod, Crusoe Cloud, and Nebius AI Cloud when an application compares prices. As shipped, instances can be created on 26 integrations, updated on 27, and removed on 26.
Object, field, method, and webhook coverage varies by what each platform's API permits, and changes as we ship. The current matrix is on the Supported Integrations page.

Custom fields across 105 integrations
On October 19 we added the Metadata object, which describes an integration's custom fields, across 88 integrations in a single pass. The same day, metadata became readable on records across 118 integrations and writable across 81. By October 31, the Metadata object was on 105 integrations, metadata was readable on 150, and writable on 105.
Integrations with the Metadata object include BambooHR, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Zendesk, Intercom, Lever, SmartRecruiters, Paylocity, UKG Pro HCM, Okta, DocuSign, and Zoom. On October 19, metadata became readable on Employee across 41 integrations, on Job across 21, on Candidate across 19, and on CRM Contact across 15.
The Metadata object is the definition, not the value. It carries the field's name, its format (TEXT, NUMBER, DATE, SINGLE_SELECT, MULTIPLE_SELECT, CURRENCY, and others), the options a select allows, the object_type it belongs to, such as crm_contact or commerce_item, and is_required when the integration needs it on create. Definitions can be listed on 104 integrations and created on 59.
An application that reads a custom field's value but not its definition can display it, not validate it: it doesn't know the field holds a date, which options a select accepts, or that the integration rejects a create without it.
Collections across 85 integrations
On October 26 we added a Collection object across 84 integrations in a single pass, reaching 85 by October 31. Collections can be listed on all 85, retrieved on 80, and created on 10. Virtual webhooks detect changes and deliver created and updated events on 5; native webhooks forward created, updated, and deleted events on 2.
The pass spans marketplaces, including eBay, Flipkart, Coupang, Lazada, bol.com, OTTO Market, Cdiscount, Newegg, Faire, and Wish, and the item catalogues kept in accounting and ERP systems, including Fortnox, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage X3, Acumatica, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
type says whether a collection is a COLLECTION, a SAVED_SEARCH, or a CATEGORY, and parent_id places it in a hierarchy. is_visible and is_featured say how the merchant shows it. During October, collections also became readable on Item across 23 integrations, 18 of them on October 26, so an item says which collections it belongs to.
An application that reads items but not the collections they sit in can list a catalogue, not navigate it the way the merchant organized it.
Earnings across 20 payroll integrations
On October 7 we added the pay run, as a Payroll object, on seven integrations, and pay codes on four. Between October 8 and 12, an Earning object followed on 19 integrations, reaching 20 by October 28: ADP Workforce Now, Alexis, Cezanne HR, Check, Employment Hero Payroll, Greenshades, HR WORKS, Nibelis, Oracle HCM, Oyster HR, Paychex, Paycor, Paylocity, Payspace, Proliant, Remote.com, Rippling, UKG Pro HCM, Workday, and Xero. Earnings can be created on 19 of them, and updated and removed on 14.
Deductions were already in the HR API: what comes out of a paycheque. Earnings are the other side, what goes into it. An Earning carries its pay code (paycode_id), amount or hours and rate_amount, and a frequency: ONE_TIME for a single addition to the next unprocessed pay run, or recurring between start_at and end_at. Once paid, payroll_id and payslip_id point to the pay run and payslip it landed on. On the pay code, type separates earnings from deductions, taxes, contributions, and reimbursements, and detail_type separates salary, overtime, tips, bonuses, and commission.
An application that can read deductions but not earnings can explain what came out of a paycheque, not what went into it. One that can write a ONE_TIME earning can add a bonus or a commission to the next pay run without anyone re-keying it.

On Robin, Envoy, deskbird, Kadence, and Teem, a room is booked by adding it to an event.

- New objects and method coverage. On October 27, Salesforce added Database, Table, and Record objects, with full method coverage on Record and created, updated, and deleted virtual webhooks. Project landed on 23 integrations, 18 of them on October 26, including Clio, Copper, Odoo, Freshservice, and Atlassian Confluence. - Event delivery. Virtual webhooks that detect changes and deliver created events were added on 124 integrations, and updated events on 122. Native webhooks that forward created events were added on 53, updated on 40, and deleted on 26. An unhealthy webhook can now be resumed with
PUT /unified/webhook/{id}/resumeonce its connection is healthy: a virtual webhook continues from the page it stopped on, so some records can repeat, and a native webhook re-subscribes, though events received while it was unhealthy are not re-sent. Virtual webhooks unhealthy for more than seven days can't be resumed. - Pagination.
slow_fieldssupport on 73 integrations, limiton 27,queryon 22, andgroup_idwith its virtual webhook variant on 11. - Connections and logs. When a connection's credentials expire or are revoked, your end user can re-authorize the existing connection instead of creating a new one, so the connection ID stays the same. API log export added Splunk and Syslog, joining Datadog, Grafana Loki, and ClickHouse.
October treated the agent as the end user. It can now create its own workspace, see what an integration supports before anyone signs up, write only the fields that integration accepts, and be told when a record changes. The four new categories and the custom fields, collections, and earnings passes give it more to build against. What an agent doesn't do is keep 1,933 integrations working as vendors change their APIs. That part stays with us, so neither you nor your agent has to think about it.
